Atlanta SMART Academy opened its doors in August of 2021. Since then, we have grown to serve over 220 students in 5th through 8th grades from 11 different counties across Metro Atlanta. We are the first and only public performing arts middle school in southwest Atlanta and look forward to serving families for many years to come.
The mission of Atlanta SMART Academy is to use science, math and the arts to build innovative solutionists. Our vision is to be a conduit from elementary to high school years where solutionists develop the creative, critical thinking skills to thrive in a constantly changing society.
In our short tenure, we have been able to increase the number of students performing at and above grade level in 7th grade math by 29%. Additionally, our 8th grade literacy rate is higher than the local school district and the state.
We wouldn’t be able to support our solutionists on their educational journeys without donors like you.
