Atlanta SMART Academy’s mission is to mold students into innovative solutionists by seamlessly blending science, math, and the arts in their education. Through this integrated approach, the academy aims to cultivate well-rounded individuals with advanced problem-solving skills.

Our Mission

The mission of Atlanta SMART Academy is to use science, math and the arts to develop all students into innovative solutionists. Solutionists are students who can propose multiple research based answers to a variety of real-world problems.

Within a demanding and restorative school community, and with an unwavering focus on high academic growth, Atlanta SMART Academy equips every 5th-8th grade solutionist for success in high school, college and career.

Science

Our Science curriculum focuses on content knowledge, cognitive skills, and habits of success.

Mathematics

Our Math curriculum teaches solutionist how to solve problems, and the many ways to find a solution.

The Arts

Our Arts curriculum engages solutions in a robust arts curriculum including dance, theatre, and music instruction.

Atlanta SMART Academy is the Only Performing Arts Middle School in Southwest Atlanta

Our school uses project based learning to teach students the critical thinking skills they need to succeed in high school, college and career.
